Drag the circular dial with your finger to set anywhere from 1 to 60 minutes. You can also tap the number below the dial to type a value directly.
The timer finished but I heard no sound.
The alert sound is built to play even when your device is in silent mode. If you hear nothing, check your device volume first, then confirm that the current output shown under the alert sound section in Settings points at the device you expect (speaker or headphones). You can also change the alert sound there.
Where are my focus records stored?
On your own device and in your own iCloud account. We run no server of our own, and we cannot read your records. See the privacy policy for details.
Will my records follow me to a new device?
Yes. Sign in with the same Apple ID with iCloud turned on, install the app, and your history comes with you. The same applies if you delete the app and reinstall it.
What if I don’t use iCloud?
The app works exactly the same and keeps recording your sessions. Those records stay on that one device, so deleting the app deletes them too.
Include these three things and we can fix it far faster
- Your device model and iOS version
- The app version — find it under App Info at the bottom of the Settings screen
- What you were doing when the problem happened, in as much detail as you can
